Adverbs
I seriously, honestly, wholeheartedly love adverbs.
Not just a nice person but painfully goodlooking, shockingly blue eyes, surpringly good manners, absurdly funny, unarguably brilliant.
Not just a beautiful day but blindingly sunny, serenely quiet, playfully breezy.
Yes, yes, these LY words! I use them constantly! Continuously, maybe a bit overzealously. There are adverbs that don't use LY, I guess they're called flat adverbs? But fuck em.
Fantastically diverse add on words that put so much extra fun into your writing and can also be tremendously helful with those irritatingly precise word counts in school papers or work assignments.
I don't know about this dude, ( http://www.users.qwest.net/~yarnspnr/writing/adverbs/adverbs.htm )
who tells us that using LY adverbs is poor writing. He's probably a dick.
Carefully. Splendidly. Amazingly. Quietly, calmly, perfectly, startlingly, totally, magically, lightly, silently, angrily, pointedly, quickly, disgustingly.
Interestingly enough, stupidly in love, midly insane.
Tragically, wistfully, energetically, mindlessly, hopefully.
This list could get ridiculously long.
